Both the case and the razor were made in Germany, however I cannot be sure that the two originally came together.

The "Keen Kutter" line, produced over many years by the E.C. Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri, was characterized by an uncompromising level of quality and the inventiveness with which the "Keen Kutter" trademark was incorporated into the products. There have been entire volumes dedicated to the valuation and description of the many Keen Kutter products, which have become collector favorites.

The razor has the E. C. Simmons Keen Kutter logo on both the blade and the handle.  On the other side of the handle is
