This razor came in a storage case that doubled as a very interesting sharpening case, called The Whetter Case. It holds the handle of the razor, and the razor itself is mounted on a handle, which you pull to sharpen the razor. Measures 6" x 2 3/4" x 3/4" in a metal case. Either side opens with the press of a button. One side contains the stone, the other has the leather strap. Once the razor is sharpened to your satisfaction, by pulling the tab back and forth, then turn the razor to disconnect it, and slide your handle on. English patent dates put the components of this piece as far back as 1922, but it is actually signed, "Rolls Razor Ltd, Made in England, 1927, Patented..." The other side says Rolls Razor, The Whetter, and shows someone sharpening something. The blade iteself is signed Rolls Razor, Pat Nos 224.578, 242.718, other side says Best Sheffield Steel."

Weight 17.2 oz
